A/N: Plot bunny attack on the bus. Enjoy! Love Anna xx

Dear Mister Jehan,

Miss Jedin told me that it would be good for me to make up an imaginary friend, and I could write to them. Um, excuse me? For one thing, you don't exist. I mean, that's fairly obvious, but still. You don't. And for another thing, she suggested that you could be foreign! FOREIGN! She was standing over me the whole time whilst I sketched you, and it was dead boring, because she made me add in that you liked poetry of all things, when all I really wanted was to make you a cat-loving hipster. Then, of course, I was in trouble, despite the fact my drawing of the cat was absolutely amazing. I gave it a fez and a bow tie, and called it Doctor Mew. You, of course, will not get that joke, because Miss Jedin made me make you French.

I gave you a boyfriend, by the way. I called him Nathaniel Courfeyrac, but everyone just callshim Courfeyrac. Then I gave you a whole band of friends, and Miss suggested I call them 'Les Amis de l'ABC', because that's a pun in French or something.

Can I just make it clear, that I'm not going to make this writing thing regular. I've got enough trouble onn my hands as it is, what with a psycho French teacher, and my sisters gone crazy over some boy, and my mum's never home. This, you may have sussed, is an excuse. I've got too much time on my hands, because apparently I have no friends. That's not true. I have a cat. That hates me.

But that's beside the point.

What I'm trying to say is, I don't really want to write to you, because letter writing is D-U-L-L, DULL. You'll have to give this letter to your friend Marius, who can translate it into French for you. (Just in case you were wondering, I made him speak three languages. French, English and German, so you'll be able to read these letters easy-peasy).

Miss Jedin has come back and told me that technically you should be Monsieur Jehan, because you're French. But, you see, I'm English, so I expect you'll probably get used to it. Anyway, you can just get Marius to make it French.

Lotsa love,

Annabelle Green
