This is a poem I had to write for english class, using the vocabulary words we were studying. I wrote mine about Moriarty.
Darkness of a Mad Man
An enmity fills the room when he's there,
His name strikes fear in hearts normally stone,
Parasitical silence fills the air,
And his cryptic smile chills you to the bone,
You know that there is no where you can hide,
He's indefatigable in searching,
Though he was set free we know that he lied,
His preeminence is stomach lurching,
Many innocents have died at his hand,
His malign nature makes the strong shiver,
Whenever caught he slips away like sand,
His indignation will still deliver,
He thinks he hears uproarious applause,
And delivers reproach without a cause.
