A Closet Fanboy

Subaru had secret that he knew he would someday take to the grave, his secret was not only embarrassing, but it also had the potential to ruin his life, well, ruin it more than it already was ruined. Subaru was a fanboy, but that wasn't even the worst part, his object of devotion and admiration happened to be Kou Mukami, more specifically Kou's voice, when Subaru had first heard it he thought it must have been an angel of some sort, he had loved it and he had quickly purchased every album he could find, the more he listened the more he enjoyed Kou's voice. Subaru had rapidly fallen into the dark spiral of the life of a fan. He even snuck out on several occasions to keep up with Kou's newest celebrity developments.

When Subaru had first seen Kou, it was at a concert that Subaru had been desperate to go to and had snuck into, he had thought it had been the best day of his life at the time, but when Subaru actually met Kou at his school, he had been mentally screaming the whole time, best. Damn. Day. Ever. Subaru was luckily not disappointed when he found out that Kou was actually a jerk, because after all it was Kou's voice that Subaru liked and adored, not Kou in particular. Subaru's obsession still made him incredibly uncomfortable and very embarrassed though, almost all of Kou's other fans were female, and so he got very self conscious whenever he bought anything related to Kou because of the weird looks he got.

He knew he would never live it down if his brothers ever found his collection, so Subaru was always incredibly careful and paranoid when it came to his admiration for Kou. But there were times were Subaru would stalk Kou, and contemplate what would happen if Kou saw him, he would probably be very weirded out, or make fun of him, so Subaru tried to not make it a habit. Subaru was often torn between not caring at all, and almost decided to give up his fanboy ways, but he always could never do in the end, he was in to deep. One thing Subaru did know for certain though, was that no one, absolutely no one could ever, ever know about it.
