Takes place after 4x8 episode. Kris and Junior eloped and they're now living a small apartment 15 miles away from Raintree.

The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed. -- Carl Jung

It's funny, ya know.

How so much has changed in such little time and it didn't seem to alarm her. She loved the way things ended up, the way it seemed to slip right into place. Yet, she was composed; like it had been overlooked. Change, it's a fascinating word. So many of us want it, yet we're frightened when it comes. Kris had gone through many changes, all had been awful. But this one; it didn't seem to scare her. She was content with this, after all; it's what she wanted.

"Junior…" she paused, "I can't believe we did it."

"I know, it's all so real now." Junior said as he went to fix him a pot of coffee. Kris was lying on the couch watching TV, snug between the blankets.

"I'm glad we did it though, I'm glad I chose you." She said as Junior kissed her forehead. He sat down beside her, and her head lay in his lap.

This was how he pictured it; when Junior first dated Kris. She was all he ever wanted, he'd give anything for her; and he had. And this time, she had done the same. He was sure it was going to last, they both wanted it. He loved the way her lips felt up against his, the way she tasted right after a hot shower. The way she tried to bury her smile when he tried to cheer her up. How peaceful she looked when she's asleep, or how you could unmistakably see the bliss in her eyes when she was racing. This is who he's going to spend the rest of his life with, just like he pictured it.

Alright, it's really short; I know. But it's 7:30 in the morning, and I haven't gotten any sleep yet. The next chapter with be up by tonight (the earliest) or Sunday night (the latest).
