They reminded her of the night sky. Not black like many people believed, but the dark, dark blue that covered the world like a blanket. The kind of blue that wrapped itself around you and sent waves of warmth through your body.
There were hint of green there too, though she supposed that they were merely the last traces of an innocent, always-grinning boy. Those tints sparkled and shimmered in the midst of the blue like stars in the sky. She wondered how bright they would be when he laughed.
Love shone from them, and one could not help but see the adoration that was buried deep in his heart. She knew what emotions were reflected in them; concern, sympathy, hope, fear, pity, longing - all that glowed just for her.
She inhaled a breath through her nose and smiled at those eyes; a soft smile that told him all that she in return felt for him. The arms around her waist pulled her in closer and he brought their foreheads together. He smirked slightly and leaned in so his mouth was near her ear. He murmured something to her and she giggled lightly, pulling back to gaze at him her green orbs. She lay her lips upon his gently but pulled back before he could respond. Her eyes laughed at his pout and she sighed happily.
"I love you too, dearest," she confessed and the blue lit up to shine like a sapphire. The eyes slipped closed slowly as he brushed his lips against hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back, enjoying the sweet moment with her love.
