Karkat sat, minding his own business on a chair in some dark room. With a yawn, the troll blinked to find Terezi right in front of him, her tongue half out of her mouth. He found himself slightly drawn to her.. what? No. That was crazy. Karkat did not like Terezi! "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" he said with a frown, crossing his arms over his black shirt and partially covering up his '69'-sideways sign.
"HI K4RK4T," she whispered, "YOUR GR3Y T4ST3S LOV3LY TOD4Y!"
Karkat scooted his chair back. "TEREZI, YOU'RE SCARING ME."
All the sudden, a flash of light went on and there was all of the kids and trolls, and a big sign saying 'happy wiggling day!' on it. Karkat widened his slitted eyes. "THANKS GUYS!" he said, really meaning it. Even though he had no idea how the kids got here, he was happy enough anyway.
"I TOLD YOU YOUR GR3Y T4ST3D LOV3LY TOD4Y!" Terezi grinned and gave Karkat a big hug. She whispered something in his ear that he didn't quite catch, but nevermind that.
Rose sat next to Kanaya, chatting quietly about something, but they had bright grins on their faces when Karkat said hello.
A while after the party, Karkat and Terezi were the only ones in the room. Earlier, John and Dave had talked about something.. what was it? Called Christmas? And they had decorated the whole room. It was festive. And annoying.
Terezi had grabbed her own chair and was scooting towards Karkat with a silly but ominous smile on her grey skinned face. Looking up, Karkat noticed something.. a... mistletoe? Was that what they called it? A memory flashed into his mind of Dave describing the rule for these things. What was it? It was that you were supposed to - /oh no./
