Ginny sighed and glanced at her clock. It was almost just like the one she had grown up with her hole life except it had only two hands. Her hand was currently pointing towards home where she had been for the past two hours waiting for Harry to come home from his Auror department. She had finished playing Quidditch with her team the Holyhead Harpies and was irritated to find that once again Harry was working late. She glanced at the clock and saw that Harry's hand had stubbornly stayed at Work.

Sighing Ginny blew out the candle she had had burning for two hours and, collecting the meal she had worked so hard on she put it in a cupboard, casting a quick spell on it to make sure the food would stay good. She walked to her and Harry's bedroom, slipping out of her skintight dress robes she had picked out with such love, and she collapsed on her bed.

As Ginny contemplated Harry's promise to be home early she started to cry, gently at first, with little tears that trickled down her face, and then with more passion, sobs making her slender body shake. This was the state Harry found her in as he entered the bedroom.

"Ginny?" Harry said alarmed.

"Go away!" Ginny said through her sobbing.

Harry went to sit besides her, setting her on his lap so that he was cradling her. He had seen the table, elaborately set up with a table cloth, candles, and rose petals, and he had seen the food, all of his favorites, in the cupboard. And he couldn't help but notice the robes that laid, crumpled, on the floor.

"I'm so sorry Ginny…" Harry said quietly, kissing her gently on the forehead.

Ginny could only shake her head, more tears escaping her eyes as she saw Harry's sincerity. She saw the bags underneath his eyes, felt his muscles trembling slightly as he strained to hold up ever her slight weight. And she sensed his deep sorrow at making her wait. She felt such shame at expecting so much of her tired husband, " I am so sorry Harry, I am just over-reacting… I know you are so busy as the head of the Auror department and-"

Ginny was cut off by Harry shaking his head at her, "There is no excuse good enough for making you wait… After so many years of making you wait here I am doing it again!"

"It isn't your fault…" Ginny said comfortingly.

"Yes it is! I made a promise and I broke it… That is never okay!" Harry said, tiredness making him slightly hysterical.

Ginny sat up and got off of Harry's lap slipping out of her pajamas and back into her dress robes. Smiling now she went to Harry and started to seductively kiss his jaw, nuzzling his neck and touching biceps. She looked at him with such love in her eyes that all at once Harry realized that she was accepting his apology and apologizing at the same time. His Ginny was so clever, so beautiful…

Harry offered no resistance as Ginny continued kissing him, and soon they were wrapped in a tangle of covers trapped in the ecstasy of their passion.

Nine months later Ginny smiled at her husband Harry as they drove home from the hospital with their new baby boy James Sirius Potter, who was giggling as his parents kissed each other passionately, content that he had the two most loving parents in the world.
