Title: It's Funny

Chapter: 1?

Author:Me, you idiots!! ME!!!!

Pairing: JDRC (see what I did there?)

Genre: Romance/Humor

Disclaimer: I do not own Scrubs, though I do own a nifty calculator.

It's Funny how doesn't seem to get it. I'm near him and I smile, I say his name and I feel feathers run against my lips, forcing me to stifle a laugh. And sometimes I even hope he'll notice so I can hear him rant, and he can see how happy his voice makes me. And though he is a genius, Perry Cox is oblivious…or perhaps I'm just good at concealing these kinds of things? Probably not. It had been a crush, simple like that. Sure I'd freaked out, hell, I had spent a week drinking not stop nectarine-ies with the queens on my porch (seriously, when did they start drinking straight guy drinks?) But now that I was used to it, and was just trying to cover it up, the problem had gotten bigger. In other words, and though I don't want to sound like a girl…screw it, yes I do, I am smitten with Doctor Cox, and have been practicing how to tell him, in front of Rowdy…whom I assume fell asleep half way through. Perry, though no one may see it in him, is really a considerate guy, when you get to his center, or when he slips (which I love, by the way). He tries to be all tough like, and though his sarcasm is indeed a genuine bit of his personality, he's not some sadistic jackass…well, jackass maybe, but not sadistic. If he knows you're in pain, and I mean authentic heart wrenching pain that isn't about some one-night stand, or the unicorn that you happen to be in denial about, he will help. Because, let me tell you, Perry has felt that pain, and he knows. In fact, I like to think I was the one that got him out of it…on that note; I would like to state that scotch sucks. So whether he calls me Carol, or Jane, or Sue, or even Betty-Loo (heh, rhyme). I know one day, he'll say J.D, and I'll turn around to check if he meant someone else, but there will be no one there, and he'll slap his forehead and shake his head, because he meant me. For Shizzle.
