Don't Leave

Disclaimer: All I'm doing is trying to write some poetry, I'm not that good so don't sue me! Seriously I'm broke! See?! (takes out wallet and moths and paperclips fall out) It's a truly sad fate! Woe is me! Wait why the heck am I saying that? Where am I? How did I get here?! Where's my trombone?! Wait a second I don't even have a trombone!

A/N: What happens when you think you are talking to yourself when you stare at the sea? What if the unicorns were actually listening to you? Lonely unicorn poem read and review. Nothing to do with the plotline okay?!

The tide goes in, the tide goes out,

No longer is there land before me, so strong and devout,

Driven away from our homes,

Driven away from our lives, we no longer know…

What was it like to walk upon the land?

So firm and solid beneath our hooves?

We only view the world as it crumbles before our eyes,

All that man now sees are lies, lies, lies.

Sometimes I see children walk upon the shore,

With the rough clothing that they wore,

They would talk not knowing that I was there,

Giving them answers to end their despair.

They would talk about happy things too,

Yet to them I am invisible,

Though you cannot see me we are still friends,

Then you turn towards the land and leave me here though I do no t blame you…

Yet I find myself here,

Feeling lonely and without a friend,

And it is near the end,

All I find myself thinking is don't leave…

A/N: How is that I'm not that good at poetry, but hey that's one of my best! R&R!
