Silent assassins,
Following the Night Mother,
That is what they say.
The Black Sacrament,
Send your child unto me,
Send me the damned.
Breaking tradition,
Forgetting the Five Tenets,
Embracing Astrid's.
The Mother is vexed,
She needs a new listener,
To voice her commands.
Astrid resents him,
Not believing it is true,
Or not wanting to.
Overwhelming greed,
Took control of Astrid's mind,
She'll do anything.
Breaking a Tenet,
Betraying her family,
Hurting her brothers.
Her mind became clear,
As her skin burned off her bones,
Crying for mercy.
Astrid was too late,
Her flesh would never heal back,
But she still atoned.
I was going to do three different haikus about the three main guilds but I deiced I had too much to write on this one to put other ones with it. Expect two other haikus soon because they are mostly done now, they just need to be typed, edited, lengthened, commented on, and posted.
