Short Side Story 2
This takes place before the whole story of Journey through Kanto
"Smell you later gramps!" Blue said leaving the lab. "Chase, I need to speak with you." Oak said so I walked over to him. "What?" I asked. "Look I don't think Blue will pass the trainer test he got an F, here's the first question, Question one: You give Pokemon lots of- A. love, B. lots of toys, or C. lots of beatings… He chose C… Chase I don't think he will make it as a trainer, they might ban him from being a trainer for a whole lifetime… Chase you got to help teach Blue how to take care of Pokemon. I'll give him a retest, hopefully he will pass." Oak warned me.
I went over to Blue's house and told him about the retest and taught him how to take care of Pokemon. After I was done teaching him everything he needed to know, which took hours so Oaks lab was closed so he would have to take the retest tomorrow. But he blew my mind saying "I was being truthful on that test, I knew gramps would let me retest, I'm his grandson after all, now that I know the answers I'll pass for sure! Thanks loser! HAHAHAHA!"
After that I just went home and slept but it was hard to sleep knowing was I've done. The next morning I went to warn Professor Oak but it was too late Blue took the test and it was sent to the testing area. I was too late. He ended up passing, so did I but I was too mad about what Blue did. Not to mention my journey officially started a few days after. But Oak never knew that Blue cheated like that. Blue played me and Oak like a puppet, not to mention that means he'll harm his Pokemon. It made me feel terrible. But I forgot about it after a few days because my journey was about to start, but I had to go to bed and the next day I started my journey…
