It was at that moment when he knew. That was him, the guy he'd been looking for forever. Why didn't he notice him before?

Maybe it was that he'd never seen this side of his friend. Or maybe it was his song selection. Blaine, though obsessed with P!NK and Katy Perry, had always had a soft spot for that song, and Kurt was doing it justice.

As he walked around the room, Blaine noticed him crying. The look of tears running down his rosy cheek was depressing enough, not to mention how stylishly yet somberly he was dressed. It was like he was seeing Kurt for the first time. He even think he blinked a few times just to make sure what he was seeing was real.

This is who I want to be with, Blaine thought as the song ended.

"Thank you." were the only words Kurt said.

The Warblers meeting continued, but Blaine couldn't stay focused. He could only think of his newly found love. Thank Grilled Cheesus they weren't working on songs today, only choosing them. He could see Kurt across the room, eyes still wet.

"…Blaine what songs do you want to sing for Regionals?" asked David, one of the heads of the Warblers. Blaine was temporarily caught off guard, but already had the solution to their song troubles.

"Well fellow Warblers, I am not going to sing alone this year." Blaine could feel the confusion bubbling up around the room. "I want to sing a duet…with…Kurt." Kurt snapped out of his daydreaming when he heard this. Confusion was showing on his face.

"Are…are you sure?" Kurt said, looking at Blaine strangely. "There are so many other talented-"

"No, no. I think all of the Warblers would agree with me." A low murmur around the room showed that the Warblers agreed.

"So it's been decided. There will be a duet sung by Kurt and Blaine for Regionals. " David concluded. Blaine spent the rest of the meeting with a smile on his face. He would have to spend a lot of time working on the song, and probably have a chance to get to know each other…

At the end of the day, Blaine's mom came to pick him up. His dad hated to pick him up, and usually tried to leave the house to "do errands" when it was time to pick Blaine up from school. Blaine didn't like it, but he accepted that his dad hated him being gay.

He spent the rest of the day wondering how he should ask out Kurt. It would be strange, because he was sure that Kurt knew Blaine never really had feelings for him. Until now.

Blaine drifted off to sleep, and had a dream about Kurt.

Blaine prepared himself to walk through the door. What was going to happen? Maybe he could wait for a better time…

No. I have to do this. He thought.

So he took a deep breath, straightened his tie, and pushed open the door. There he was, working with some sort of box and sparkles, cute as ever.

"What are you doing?" He asked, nervous about what would go down. Kurt looked up and smiled sadly at him.
