Robin shut the door to the mansion behind him as Regina kicked off her shoes and slipped into the living room.

"Regina wait." Robin said taking off after her. She had been avoiding him ever since the hospital. He found her on the couch, head in her hands, with a glass of whisky on the table in front of her.

"Regina," he cooed taking a seat next to her.

"I don't want to talk right now Robin." she muttered.

"Regina please you've been avoiding me ever since the hospital." he said sadly "Please tell me what's wrong." After a moment of silence she finally looked up, the sadness in her deep brown eyes hitting him like bullet to the chest.

Regina swallowed and got up the courage to speak.

"Seeing you holding Zelena's baby made me wish we could have that too," She admits.

"Then we can, we can have a family of our own," he says grabbing her hand. Regina shook her head, tears beginning to form in her eyes.

"No you don't understand that can never be us."

"Regina why would you say that?" he asks puzzled, "if you want to have a baby then we can have a baby."

"Robin," she looks into his eyes "I'm barren." She stutters as a tear rolls down her cheek. "I'm so sorry." Robin wipes the tear from her cheek and pulls her into his chest tightly.

"shh Gina it's alright" he says as a sob racked her tiny body. The weight of the secret lifting off her shoulders. Robin clutched her body tightly to his, pulling her into his lap. "I love you no matter what." he said as her body shook with another heart wrenching sob.

Robin picked her up gently and carried her to their bedroom. He sat himself on the bed and she cuddled into him and cried, her body shaking violently with each sob.

Eventually the pair fell asleep, Regina still cradled in Robin's arms.
