Troy held up two ice cream containers to his girlfriend. "Your choice. Strawberry or Rocky Road?" He said knowing she loved both kinds of ice cream.

Gabriella bit her bottom lip. "It's a hard choice, but I'd have to choose Rocky Road. It's a classic." She said knowingly.

Troy raised an eyebrow at her. "An ice cream can be a classic thing?"

Gabriella shrugged with a smile. "It could be."

Troy smiled back at her. "Nice to know." He said putting the container of strawberry ice cream back into the freezer of the market.

Troy and Gabriella turn to walk out of that isle.

Troy was glancing in other isles as they walked past them, when something caught his eye. He stopped and put his hand gently on her forearm to stop her from walking. "Look, see-" He pointed into the isle at the jelly that he thought was pink. "-pink jelly."

Gabriella looked over to where he was pointing. She shook her head and looked at Troy. "No, I think it's red."

Troy furrowed his eyebrows. "Red?" He looked at her. "How do you think that's red?"

Gabriella smiled amusedly. "Because it is."

Troy shook his head, walking into the isle and picking up the jar of jelly. "It's pink." He looked at her.

Gabriella walked over to where he was and pointed to the jar. "That's red."

"It's not." Troy said disagreeing.

Gabriella nodded. "It is."

"But it doesn't look red." Troy told her.

Gabriella looked at the jelly again. "Yes, it does." She looked back up at her boyfriend.

"Well, then I can't see that, because all I see is pink." Troy said holding up the jar.

Gabriella took the jar out of his hands and held it up herself. "But it's red."

Troy shook his head. "No, it's not."

Gabriella nodded. "Yes, it is."

"No, it's not." Troy disagreed again.

Gabriella sighed and looked up at him. "How about we agree to disagree?" She asked.

Troy looked at her and nodded. "Alright."

Gabriella put the jar of jelly back on the shelf.

They both walked to one of the registers and Troy put the container of ice cream down so the person working at the register could scan it.

There was silence for a few moments as the woman working at the register scanned the container of ice cream before Troy broke it.

"How could you think it wasn't pink?" Troy asked.

Gabriella looked at him. "Because it was red."

"But it wasn't." Troy told her.

The woman looked amusingly at the two as she put the container in a plastic bag. "Ten thirty-five." She told the two.

Troy pulled out his wallet and paid. "It was pink." Troy said in a low, sing song-y voice.

"No it wasn't." Gabriella said mimicking how he said it before.

Troy told the woman thank you as she handed him the plastic bag with the container of ice cream in it. "It was pink." He said trying to convince her.

"No it wasn't Troy, it was red." Gabriella said.

They both continued with the argument as they exited the market. Agreeing to disagree didn't seem to work for them right now.

Now, was color jelly was it? Pink or red? You tell me.
