Hey all my dear friends and readers! Today I am back with a new story for you to check out! I actually wrote the final half during a black out(flashlight in one hand and pencil in the other). I hope you enjoy it!

Disclaimer: I own nothing related to Finding Nemo.

He Was Suffocating

The sun was shining bright as the soft waves gently took over the surface of the pure blue sea. Creatures of basically every color imaginable swiftly roamed the sea's bottom, either returning to their respective home or merely out for a swim or even the occasional hunt.

Everyone and everything were at peace; with the exception of one tiny clownfish named Nemo. It had been exactly five years since he had been free from the glass prison and yet something didn't seem right.

Scratch that, he knew something wasn't right.

Although Nemo does have a father that he loved to no end, there was one fish who was just as special.

Nemo could never forget the day he met Gill. The tiny clownfish was scared to death once he was dumped in the dentist's fish tank. Even the five( six, if you include the "twin sister") friendly faces that he met almost inmmediately didn't ease his nerves. Only after did Nemo get stuck in the filter's tube, he met his mentor and beloved friend.

After escaping the tube with Gill's guidance, the aged Moorish Idol took the young clownfish under his fin.

Like Nemo, Gill also had a crippled right fin, but unlike him, the Moorish Idol had severe scars on his right side, all thanks to dental tools.

Throughout Nemo's one week captivity, the aged leader, taught the child everything he needed to know.

-The value of failure and how to learn from it instead of accepting it.

-Quick thinking to get out of tough situations.

-Everything Nemo's father never taught him that the boy needed to survive.

*Stoic-Yes

*Frightening-Not anymore(at the start yes)

Nevertheless, the young clownfish was able to see pass it and turned the scarred Moorish Idol into a beloved friend.

Now that five years have passed since they last saw one another and Nemo always regretted that he never got to thank Gill for all he's done.

The Moorish Idol had sworn to reunite Nemo and his father while protecting the young fish at the same time.

He had even gone as far as risking his own aging life for the tiny fish.

Launching himself out of the glass tank to stop the "fish killer" ultimately causing both fish to land on the tray that literally scarred Gill for life.

Without hesitation, the Moorish Idol jumped on the tool the now suffocating fish had landed on, slingshoting him into the spit sink that soon led Nemo to his father.

Even though Nemo had survived the ordeal, he could only wonder if Gill had done the same.

He remembered that his scarred mentor was also painfully suffocating on the dripping wet tray, taking each breath as if it was his last.

The last thing Nemo said to the Moorish Idol was "Gill" while the last thing the latter said was "hi".

After that they never saw each other again.

Since then, Nemo wished that somehow he would see Gill again and thank him for everything he did.

But until then, the only thing Nemo could only remember was that…

Gill was suffocating…

I actually had to go through several drafts and different pieces to come up with this final project. SO I hope I did a good job. If it didn't work out, I'm sorry and please be nice!
