Title: Blasted Humidity
A/N: This was written for the Back to School challenge on the Harry Potter Fanfiction Challenges Forum.

Summer's humidity is a curse that can't be fixed with spells, charms, or cheap beauty products. It made the strands of Draco's hair stick to his forehead and Harry's glasses slide down his nose. Humidity didn't even help their sex lives, the sick bastard.

"You need to get air conditioning," Draco panted next to Harry after finishing a round of sex. They spent their nights together in Harry's room, having sex and cigarettes. In the daytime, they corresponded with letters to make the grueling day pass faster. Harry went through three sheets of parchment everyday and a bottle of ink once a fortnight.

When the sun stretched its rays in the wee hours of the morning, Draco would apparate home and fall onto his bed, cold sheets engulfing his sweaty body and providing a painful contrast from the warm arms he had just left. He would sigh and shut his eyes for a few hours before joining his mother for breakfast, where they would have an awkward conversation with a side of eggs benedicts and cold champagne. She would comment on the dark circles forming beneath his eyes, and he would ask about her new affair. The rest of the meal was always eaten in silence.

The Dursleys, however, never ate breakfast with Harry, but they were quick to comment on his new sluggishness. They didn't know it was from a lack of sleep caused by two teenagers with raging hormones. They just assumed that Hogwarts was making the boy mentally retarded.

"Nah, the Dursley's wouldn't get air conditioning," Harry replied, kissing his boyfriend behind his ear.

"Well, there's only two weeks left until school," Draco recalled, running his fingers through Harry's frizzy hair, "and Hogwarts has air conditioning."

"God bless Hogwarts," Harry said before attacking Draco's neck with his lips. With any luck, Draco would have multiple hickies before school started. Everyone had to know that Draco had a talented boyfriend.
