Title: It Doesn't Matter

Rating: K/PG

Summary: Only one thing matters. Drabble.

Word Count: 100

Spoilers: Season 4 – episode 1: Trust Metric. If you have not watched, you'll just think I'm a sadistic b—person out to make everyone but Colby and Charlie look evil. So again, it makes more sense after season 4 episode 1

Notes: I just got out of a 3 year writer's block so I'm still rusty. I've also started experimenting with styles and this style is a first. So please excuse me if it's not that great. Constructive criticism and comments in general would be appreciated!

Disclaimer: (Unfortunately,) I do not own these characters. They are fictional creations from the creators, writers, producers, actors in, and anyone else related to the show Numb3rs.

It doesn't matter…

…that everyone at the FBI treats him like a leper. At least solitude is infinitely better than a room a full of enemies.

…that David and Megan don't look at him when they are forced to talk to him. At least they are subdued.

…that when Alan comes to the office looking for Don a warm greeting is bestowed upon everyone but him. At least Alan hasn't strangled him yet.

…that if glares could kill, Don would have killed him, revived, then killed him again over and over. At least he's consistent.

Nothing matters…because he has Charlie.
