Making a plan for the future.

A/N: Who is on one shot more ME LOL

It was two days before Virgil and Jo were due to go for their wedding dinner,but Virgil wanted to talk to Jo about what he had talked to Jeff about when he was in the hospital after the shooting. So Virgil had organised for John to put Robyn to bed since he was down and wanted to spend some more time with Robyn.

Once Virgil had Robyn sorted with John he went to find Jo in the kitchen helping Grandma with the dinner. He had a plan.

"Hey Grandma do you mind if I borrow Jo for a few minutes? I need to talk to her about something and don't worry Jo its nothing bad."

"No problems my dear boy, why don't you take Jo down to the beach for a walk that way you can get some alone time with her. You will not see much of each other in the next couple of days believe me" said Grandma as she handed the couple two plastic wine cups with a bottle of wine to take down with them.

Once Virgil and Jo had left for the beach, they took their time walking down onto the beach. When Virgil got to a nice spot he sat down and pulled Jo down with him. He doesn't know how Jo is going to react to this but he does need to talk it over with her"

"So what is it you wanted to talk to me about?"

"While I was in the hospital I had a good chat with Dad about our future. I told him that I couldn't face going out on missions knowing that I could leave you behind to bring up Robyn and these two babies on your own. I told him that I couldn't do it and he said that we should maybe think about.."

"Think about what Virg?"

"That maybe we should stay here for six months and spend the other six months over on the mainland. Dad said that he would hand our family home over to us, it would mean that we can get Robyn in School part time and Dads office plus the hospital is a cross the road so if anything were to happen then I would be there. What do you think?"

"Its not a bad idea when you think about it, If I am honest I would rather be in the hospital having these twins then anything else. I think that we should try it and see how it plans out, what happens if we don't like it?. Well Jeff want you to back full time as part of IR?"

"I don't know Jo but Dad does understand that I have my own family now. I told him that we didn't want Robyn to send her away to school. That we wanted to keep her close by. If I am honest Jo I don't think I could go through losing Robyn. As you know you two are my world, yes I may spend some time with two but it will always be you I come too if I have any problems that Scott can't fix.

"At least he understands and by the way we are six months together, is that why you have the bucket with a bottle of wine in it?"

"You know me too well Jo and yes I did remember it" said Virgil as he pulled Jo into a deep kiss.

"Grandma is right, we are not going to get peace the next couple of days. I still can't believe that we are this close to getting married"

After Virgil and Jo had their chat they sat on the beach for half an hour before deciding to go back up to the house. When they got there Grandma had a meal ready for everyone. Jo had found it hard to believe that she had been with Virgil for six months but its been tough for them both.
