A.N – Thanks for the reviews on my other story, this one is in no way related to it. Again it came from no where in my head, (well maybe a little help from another TV show.) Time line for this is a strange one. They were only together a very short period of time when they decided to get married.

Staring out at the passing scenery, she sighed. Her husband stretched over and placed his hand on her thigh. She smiled sleepily at him. She was tired, it had been a long drive and she had done a large chunk of it.

"Lay your head back. I promise, I'll wake you at the state line." He told her.

She leaned over and sweetly kissed his cheek, before doing as he told her. She was asleep within minutes. He listened as her breathing evened out and her head lolled to the one side. She looked like an angel as she slept. They had been through so much over the last few months. A trip to the Great Lakes had been called for and miraculously they had managed the time off. It had been just what they needed.

An hour or so later, as promised he woke her at the state line, just not the one she had been expecting. "You let me sleep longer!" She exclaimed, silently glad he had. Sure they had a restful few days but they had been active as well, walks, hikes, horse riding. Not to mention the night time activities of them both.

"You looked too peaceful to wake. Anyway, we're almost home now. How about we stop at Capitol Grille for something to eat before heading back?"

"Mmmmm…… Sounds good." She wiped her hand across her face before checking her appearance in the mirror on the sunshade. She shook her hair out a couple of times before applying a little lip-gloss.

Pulling into the car park of Capitol Grille he almost breathed a sigh of relief. The car park was almost empty. He hoped this meant the restaurant was the same. He wasn't in the mood for a busy place. He wanted to spend those last few hours of peace with his wife before heading back to the grind the following day.

Walking inside he was greeted by the quietness he was expecting. She held tight to his hand and smiled up to him, knowing that they would enjoy at least one last quiet meal before the return to work. "I don't want to go back to work tomorrow." She grumbled knowing that he was feeling the same way as she was.

"I know baby, but we do have bills to pay." He smiled over to her, watching her little pouty face. "You'll get to see Little AJ again though."

"I suppose. We haven't seen him in a while." She thought of her godson and the promise she and her husband had made on the day he was born. "Do you think we can start on our deal?" She smirked at him.

"If you're ready the so am I baby." He couldn't have been happier at that moment. His wife had just agreed it was time for a family, what he had dreamed of for a while. He could already see it; they were sitting in the park with their baby son in her arms. He couldn't wait to be a father; he hoped it was the same for her. Glancing up and seeing the smile on her face he knew she couldn't wait.
