Prologue

For one evening, and only one, Edward let himself fall victim to the beauty and seduction of Captain Grace O'Malley. With her flaming locks of russet curls and piercing turquoise eyes she had him at "hello". Though he was ruthless himself and never fell in love, he could not deny his infatuation with this scorned woman.

For one full moon, and only one, Grace had been lured onto the Queen Anne's Revenge in hopes of striking a deal with its captain. Instead she found herself in his chambers bare and at his mercy. Though he wasn't a refined man, he had charm and power which drew her in like a shark to blood.

For one night, and one only, they shared a bond, between two Captains, of two successful ships carrying pirates. The night was an unforgettable one that created a new life within Grace that would melt a fraction of Black Beard's ice cold heart.
