Home Alone With Emmett

"Bellllllllaaaaaaaaaa!" Emmett sang out as he skipped into the Cullen living room where Bella sat in front of the computer.

Bella looked up to see Emmett dressed in blue jeans and a black t-shirt.

"Hello, Em," Bella said, typing away at the computer. In the blink of an eye, Emmett had Bella on her feet. He danced with her across the living room.

"Sit," Emmett said. In a flash, Emmett was out of the room and back again with cans of paint in hand.

"Oh no, Em…" Bella knew how things got out of hand when Emmett found paint. "Emmet, just put the paint back."

Bella watched in amusement and disdain, as Emmett danced around the house yelling, "I'M A BARBIE GIRL!" and covering everything in bright blue and lime green paint.

"Come on, Bella!" Emmett yelled, covering her from head to toe in lime green paint.

Bella was furious, but she was starting to feel a little lightheaded from the smell of the paint.

30 Minutes Later

They were both dancing and skipping around with the radio blaring.

"'Every Time We Touch' by Cascada, Emmett!" Bella screeched drunkenly.

I still hear your voice,
When you sleep next to me.
I still feel your touch,
In my dreams.

Emmet was singing off pitch.

Bella joined in.

Forgive me my weakness,
But I don't know why.
Without you it's hard to survive...

Emmett and Bella held onto each others arms and spun in circle, screaming the chorus.

Suddenly, the door opened.

"What the…" Edward said softly as he looked at the paint splatter all over the living room.

In the middle of the mess were Bella, his angel, and Emmett, his brother, holding onto each other and staring at him with smiles on their faces.

Bella giggled and said in a high-pitched voice, "It's Edward!"

"Emmett, you let Bella get paint high?!" Edward thundered, catching Bella before she collapsed.

Emmett shrugged sheepishly. Edward rolled his eyes and muttered, "This is going to be a long night."
