Prologue: Murder
Artemis and Holly's room, Fowl Manor, IrelandThe body lay face down on the floor, covered in blood. How absolutely disgusting.
Holly called through the door.
"Artemis? Patrick's hiding from me again. You're the one who knows all of his hiding spots, so could you come help me find him?" A pause. "Artemis?" Holly opened the door. Upon seeing the body on the floor, she did the only sensible thing to do at that moment.
She screamed.
