I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh!
So this is my first Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfic... So I'm a little nervous here... I'm going against some hardcore AnzuXYuugi lovers here by making this my favorite pairing. (Puzzleshipping!) Also, this is my first SLASH fic too. It really isn't that obvious though, so if you are REALLY against that pairing, don't sweat it. Just imagine he's being brotherly.
This fic is mainly about right after Yuugi is taken by the Seal and Mou Hitori No Boku (Atem or whatever anybody calls him these days... Yami, Atem, Mou Hitori No Boku, take your pick. :D)

I'm sorry I cut your trust like a knife.
I'm sorry that I let you go,
For it made me hate myself more than you can know.
I lost my other half.
Even though you were taken on my behalf.
It's my fault.
The emptiness is stronger than the tang of salt.
Darkness is filling the light,
And soon… I fear you will be forever gone from my sight.
