I raise my eyebrow as he walks into the room, still in a state of disarray from Quidditch practice.
"Fancy meeting you here."
He mimicks my expression: the raised eyebrow, the lack of emotion. "I live in here, same as you, Sirius."
"Hardly seems like it anymore."
He just stares, then starts to gather his stuff for a shower. Before another date, no doubt. He never gets undressed in here anymore, always in the shower. Some form of sweet mercy, "friend".
"You aren't you anymore, James."
He turns around, shooting a glare which chills to the core. "No," he says softly. "You never knew me."
"You've changed."
"And you SHOULD."
He storms out.
Change.
