Cyber-Travel 2: Science!
"HELLO, AND WELCOME TO THE APERTURE SCIENCE COMPUTER AIDED ENRICHMENT CENTER."
Nolan and Josh knew that voice too well. They looked at each other: GLaDOS.
They were all in a white panel-filled room with glass showing the inside of another room just alike. Inside there was a bed, toilet, counter, and a timer on the wall.
"THE PORTAL WILL OPEN IN 3… 2… 1…" Fjoom. A portal.
"Oh, no, oh, no, OH, NO…" Josh freaked out.
"Wow…" Mark was intrigued.
"Are we IN the game?" Josh asked.
Nolan was frantic. "We have GOT to get out of here."
"Guys, we've gotta go get that portal gun," Josh reminded.
"OK, OK…" Krista was confused.
Nolan directed, "Let's just go through a couple of test chambers and see where we get to."
They did a couple of chambers until they came to the portal device.
"Grab it and try to find a way out," said Mark.
Nolan picked it up. "So… left for orange and right for blue?"
"I guess," said Josh.
Krista pointed, "Look, and open window!"
Nolan shot a portal right in the crack, and a portal below him. They all fell through. They were in an office-like room, with computers and a window leading into the test chamber.
Krista yelled, "AH!" The room started to tilt.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU'RE NOT EVEN GOING THE RIGHT WAAAY…"
Nolan panicked. "Krista! You took a computer programming class, right?"
"Yeah."
"Here, get on this computer and program us a tech orb."
"Uh…" She hesitated. Then she typed in /techorb [on] and one appeared out of thin air.
A wall broke off of the room. CRASH!
"Everyone touch it!" Josh screamed.
They put their hands in, and were back in Josh's house where they started.
"Phwew," sighed Mark.
"So… what just happened?" asked Josh.
Nolan replied, "I felt that there was a connection between the device and the orb. I just guessed."
"Whatever, I guess it's just good that we're back," said Krista.
Then there was an echo:
"THIS WAS A TRIUMPH…"
