GOLEM SQUAD XXII
It had been a disaster, the research team had been massacred the army had been slaughtered and the civilian population had disappeared, general Husar staggered along the corridor clutching his limp left arm. They had been ambushed outside of the compound by those creatures, those demons from hell that had destroyed his plans, but they will pay he thought to him self. "They will pay with blood" he croaked as he slammed his hand onto the lock of a non-descriptive door, like many dozens he had passed before and many more that carried on down the corridors. The doors opened soundlessly parting left and right, melting into the walls, revealing a pitch black room; the light came on as he walked into the room. A long room lined on both sides by capsules suspended from the roof, the only sound was humming from a power generator at the far end of the room. "Thank god your still working" a smile spread across his face, he had been in other rooms exactly like this one except there lights did not come on and the humming from the generator was none existent. To think they laughed at him when he requested this cargo the fools. He could remember the argument clear as day him in front of his governors and demanding to bring them, in the end he had to smuggle them onboard. It had not been easy and had cost him millions of meseta, but he had them now and as soon as he flipped the switch they would come to life and save the day. He would be a hero again and would go down in history as the man who saved Ragol, no not just Ragol but there entire species. "My precious Golems" he placed his hand on the terminal nest to the first pod and with a hiss the door slowly lifted to reveal a giant mech. A grin on his face he turned to the next pod and froze, something was in the doorway and it wasn't another human.
