Radar sat, miserably, hugging his teddybear to his chest. The others were in O.R. Sure, they all felt happy for Henry, and he should too, but... It was growing faint. Radar no longer had that second set of thoughts talking loudly into the back of his mind. Now, he could barely hear it anymore.
But, like so often happened, taking him by surprise, Radar became extremely shaken. His body was suddenly enveloped in an icy sheet of fear, and he couldn't see the Clerk's office anymore. All he could see was the sparkling innocence of the Sea of Japan far below, and hear the roaring gunshots...
"NO!"
He screamed, dropping the bear on his cot and rushing for his desk. Henry's plane was going to be shot down! There must be something he could do, someone he could call! But before Radar could pick it up, the phone was already ringing beneath his hand.
