"Ha Ha! Slowpokes! What are you waiting for! Hurry up here!" Erika cried to the group who was well behind her. The intensifying heat beaming down on the backs of Aang, Sokka, Katara, and Toph, making them slow down. They weren't used to the intensifying heat that was so well known in the Fire Nation. But Erika was. And so was Zuko.

When Erika was a young girl, her best friend was none other than the Banished Prince. She would spend those long, hot days with Mai, Ty Lee, Azula, (Even though she didn't like her all that much), and Zuko. Especially Zuko. He was her favorite friend. But when he left the Fire Nation, it broke young Erika's heart. She longed for him to return, but he never came.

Until now. Three long years had passed and Erika was once reunited again with Zuko. That was the happiest moment of her life, when she figured out that Zuko joined the Avatar's group. Zuko recognized her at once, and even gave her a hug. Now, Erika was back to her cheerful self and was always showing it. "

"You don't have to go fast! Wer'e dying back here!" called Sokka from behind. Erika looked back and saw that Zuko was walking close behind her. "We can't help it that you guys can't handle a little heat." replied Zuko. Erika's heart skipped a beat. She missed him all those years, and he was back now.

Have you ever heard the expression, Abscence Makes the Hearts Grow Stronger? Well, that was exactly how Erika felt. She was the best of friends with Zuko when they were younger, but now It seemed that she had growned to like him even more. Whenever he spoke to her, her heart raced, when he was close, she blushed. She did not know what to make of this. It was unlike anything else she had ever felt.

One night, the group was sitting around a campfire. The night was warm and Erika was sitting across from Zuko. Soon, one by one the group turned in for the night and went to their tents, until only Erika and Zuko was left. Zuko smirked and got up to sit next to the shy brunette. When she realized he was sitting extra close to her, she blushed and her heart raced. "There's something I've been meaning to tell you." he said. Erika's eyes widened as she realized what was happening. "I've missed you all those long years. There wasn't a day that passed without me thinking about you." As these words left the boy's lips, Erika felt a shiver run down her spine and she felt real warm. Zuko smirked. "I'm guessing by that blush that you've felt the same too." Erika felt him move closer. "Yes, I have. I-I like you v-very much, Zuko." Zuko now had his nose touching her's. "I figured just as muched. I like you too, Erika." And as the words escaped his lips, he pressed them against Erika's. And Erika kissed him back.

What the Characters Think of You:

Aang: Erika is a really nice friend! She's really pretty and bubbly! She's like me somewhat.

Sokka: Erika really nice and energetic. We hang out all day laughing and telling jokes!

Katara: Erika is so nice and beautiful. She's also energetic, and somewhat childish. She reminds me a lot of Aang.

Toph: She's a cool girl. She reminds me of Twinkletoes, though.

Zuko: The most beautiful girl I have ever met. She's cute, funny, and oh so nice. I would never leave her.

Azula: She's a stupid peasent, I don't even know why we played together when we were kids. She should be destroyed.

Ozai: She's a traitor to her country. She needs to be executed.

Iroh: A most beautiful girl. I'm glad Zuko has found her, he needs someone to make him happy in his life. She likes to drink my tea also.

Ty Lee: She's so nice and pretty! We're best of friends! She likes to talk to me alot, and we practice our fighting together.

Mai: Erika is a nice girl alltogether, but I don't really like her. X( She stole my Zuko...

Suki: She's so nice and energetic! We are real good friends.
