AN: Any other Eve/Will shippers out there? I've booked a spot on the Eve/Will carriage of the shipping train and I'm not getting off. They're just adorable. Like, it's only been four episodes and I'm already dying. What is it about inter-species relationships that get to me so much? I don't know how to do the adding-archives thing, so yay, you can read it here if you want.

Shoutout to Chelsea from Twitter, and to IsobelJones2000, who both love Eve and Will as much as I do!

DISCLAIMER. I do not own Eve. Although I do own a very over-active imagination and the skills to procrastinate like a boss, which is both a blessing and a curse.

Eve frowned at the couple on the screen. "Question. What are they doing?"

"They're..." Will looked between the screen and her several times, looking a little confused. "Well, they're kissing."

"Kissing." The word was unfamiliar. "Question. What is kissing?"

"It's...well, it's, uh, it's what people do when they like each other."

"Like you and I?"

"Ye - No, no!"

Her face fell. "You don't like me?"

"No, no, that's not - I do like you - It's just - Friends don't -"

"Do not what?"

"Well, they don't, you know, kiss."

"Why not?"

"Because - well, just because they don't."

"But you said that humans who like each other kiss each other. Friends like each other. We are friends, are we not?"

"It's not the same thing."

"It isn't? What is the difference?"

"Well -" She didn't wait for an answer.

"How do you do it?"

"Kissing? It's pretty simple." He shrugged. "You just tilt your head slightly and then you lean in, and then you just...I don't know, kiss. It just happens."

It didn't sound so simple to her. "Question." Eve's eyes had returned to the black and white picture on the screen as Will reached for his drink. "Will you show me?"

There was a spluttering sound from next to her. "What?"

"Will you show me how kissing works?" She repeated, a small frown creasing her forehead.

"I, uh -"

"Please?" She couldn't understand how to be human if she didn't learn all of this vital information. He glanced at her for a few moments, not saying anything. She could see the debate going across his face before he sighed, lips pressed together in a thin line.

"Alright," he replied finally, almost hesitantly, shifting round on the sofa so that they were facing each other. "Tilt your head slightly. Okay. I'm just - I'm going to do it now, okay?" He ducked his head towards her, a light dusting of red covering his cheeks. "Okay?"

"Why would it not be okay when I asked - Oh!" In the midst of her rambling, he had leaned forward and placed a soft peck on her mouth. One of her fingers reached up to touch her lips. "That was...Was that kissing?"

"Er, yeah." Will gave a half cough. "That's how you kiss. Does that answer your question?"
