Hands icy, teeth chattering, Draco stood in the middle of nowhere, freezing his butt off. The snow was falling in gentle swirls around him as the sky darkened, seemingly making the already cold winter air even colder. His frown deepened as the bloody git who'd ordered him here about a half hour ago was still nowhere to be seen. Draco had almost made up his mind to either die of cold, or move the hell out of bloody England when a twig behind him cracked and he whirled around to come face to face with the reason for his current state.

Harry looked too good in his thick wool coat, the ratty, old Gryffindor scarf and that ridiculous green bobble hat, and when he'd closed the distance and wrapped his coat around him, Draco almost forgot why he was supposed to be mad at Potter. Harry didn't give him a chance to remember and brushed his lips over Draco's, giving him a slightly sheepish, apologetic look. "Sorry I'm late. Got held up at work."

He didn't even have to ask to be forgiven; the truly adorable look on his face did it for him. Draco rolled his eyes dramatically and tightened his arms around the other man, sighing contentedly as the heat of Harry's body seemed to seep into his own. Seeing that Draco was still cold, Harry took off his hat and scarf, giving them to Draco. When he'd wrapped his scarf around Draco's neck, he let out a contented sigh.

"What did you want to show me then?" Draco asked – despite his momentary comfort, he couldn't wait to get back home.

The sheepish look was back on Harry's face, and Draco knew that Harry's grin couldn't mean anything good. "Nothing," he admitted, silencing Draco with a gloved finger against his lips as he opened his mouth to protest. "I just thought this would be nice. You know, romantic." When Draco looked ready to murder him, he laughed. "And I wanted to give you this."

This time it was a brush of Harry's warm lips against his own that silenced him, and Draco found his resolve crumble as he gave in and returned the kiss. Bloody romantic git.

The kiss lasted for several seconds until Draco shook violently and had to pull back.

"Let's go home," he muttered, smirking slowly as he thought of a fitting revenge to make Harry pay for making him wait. Oh yes, it was going to be one long, kinky Christmas Eve...
