Zoey Hanson was having a miserable day.
The other Mew mews had left her to do all the work at the cafe as usual.
Earlier that day, she had seen Mark kissing another girl. When she had confronted him, he had just sneered at her. "I never loved you. I just wanted your body. You wouldn't give me that so I moved on."
Just thinking on this almost made her break down.
Of course she hadn't told her friends. They wouldn't understand. How could they?
No, they would just give her pitying looks. She didn't want that so she hid her feelings behind her smile.
As the days wore on, her mood got progressively worse, and inevitably the others began to notice.
"What's going on, Zoey?" Corina asked one day. "You've been acting weird lately. And your tea has been tasting weird."
Zoey snapped. "Well then why don't you make your own goddam tea then?"She said angrily.
Corina's eyes widened in surprise.
"I'm tired of you all taking advantage of me!" Zoey continued. "And so I QUIT!"
The rest of the Mew Mews looked at Zoey in surprise.
"What?" asked Bridget.
"I'm tired of being used!" Zoey exclaimed.
"You can't leave," said Elliot. "You're a mew mew."
Zoey reached up and ripped the power pendant from around her neck. "Not anymore."
She hurled the pendant at Elliot and stormed out.
The team looked at the power pendant in shock.
"What just happened?" Renee asked incredulously.
"I think Zoey just walked out on us," said Wesley.
