Stopping the Rain

Just a poem I wrote for Bleach, especially Ichigo. Please read! Rated T because I want to be safe but I don't think there's really anything in it.

Stopping the Rain

I see a mask as death looks back

Shadows behind it, dark and black

It rains here everyday

Reminding me of sorrow and pain

I hate the rain, I wish for sun

I am the fighter, the protecting one

I walk through buildings, strong and slow

They're tall and empty, I am alone

A man stands at a distance

His cape is black, his eyes glisten

I look at the sky and see the clouds

Look to my side with a typical frown

I hate the rain, it reminds me of pain

I see my memories of fateful days

I look back up and the man is gone

I await another fight for however long

I fill of worry, I'm so alone

The weight of the world, the rain falls

I'm the fighter, the protecting one

They cannot see it, I must not give up

I await the light to banish the darkness away

Just as long as my friends don't feel the pain

I hear my name and turn around

Still I keep my typical frown

A girl stands there, a boy by her side

They beckon me closer with large smiles

I can't stop, I keep moving forward

I don't belong in either world, yet fight for them

I stop in my path as the boy makes a joke

Too tired to retort, I stand there soaked

I need to walk away but I take another step

I wanted another path but this one is set

I look at their smiles and run their way

Thank you both, for stopping the rain

A/N: The two people that stop the rain are supposed to be Rukia and Renji. That's just in case. I hope that isn't too sappy.
