You Belong
When Tom sully died he left behind a twin brother (Jake) and a younger sister (Alana).
When the sully parents died the twins were already in their twenties Jake was in the marines while Tom was finishing his masters in science, their sister was only 7 years of age, as Jake was in the military he could not take care of Alana so custody was given to Tom. When Tom had got confirmation to go to Pandora, due to his guardian status, Alana (age 11) was also confirmed to be allowed to join.
A week before they were to leave Tom and Alana were walking home from the cinema when they were jumped by a robber, Alana who had seen a police officer in the diner across the road ran for help, as she got to the door she turned to see how Tom was doing in time to see the robber pull a gun from their pocket and shoot him
