PACK

AUTHOR'S NOTE/DISCLAIMER

Takes place during the scene where Taylor's commanding Zoey to act like a dog and shows the guys' thoughts as they break the app's spell. Belongs to Disney and the creators of the movie.

Adam was still doing the kick-line just as he had been commanded when he saw Zoey on the floor acting like a dog at Taylor's behest. Oh heck no! Taylor's not getting away with this! he thought in annoyance and he wrenched away from the line, walked up to her, and then dropped to his knees, causing her to look at him in surprise.

"How did you-"

"I'm your brother. We stick together." With that, he began shaking, begging, and panting along with her. Hearing this, Ted's heart swelled in pride. I'm so proud of him for sticking up for our girl, he thought. Our girl. Zoey was his daughter and he wasn't going to stand for her being humiliated on her own like this. Determinedly, he scooted forward and then got in the same position as his children and copied them. Ben and Zach's eyes flashed angrily as they watched the scene. Their sister was in trouble. Well, they weren't going to leave her alone. Hold on, Zoey! I'm coming! Ben thought. I'm not letting her go through this alone. I've got her back, Zach mused. Immediately, the two joined their family. Jackson watched the family for a few moments and felt his heart break. He couldn't believe Taylor was doing this. How could she be so cruel? Ah, the heck with it, he thought and headed for them. As he did so, he saw Adam move over, leaving a space for him right next to Zoey. He dropped to his knees and began imitating them, sharing a smile with the girl next to him. When Taylor started yelling at them to stop, saying that they were ruining everything and to get back, Jackson had to force down his laughter as he just started panting harder and made the sound playful at his ex-girlfriends' annoyance. And without even looking at them, he knew the others were doing the same thing. This is actually kind of fun, he thought and then smiled as the other girl finally asked why the phone wasn't working.

"Because everyone knows, you can never make a dog turn against its own pack," Zoey responded, sharing a look with her stepbrothers. Jackson smiled at the word. Pack. They were a pack. Yeah, that sounded good to him.
