No Way I Missed Her
I left the dance right after Cinderella. I got home from the dance holding the blue cell phone in my hand, I was so down that I wasn't able to find out who she was."Was she afraid that I would judge her?" I thought to myself. She had a terrified look on her face when I went to take off her mask, It's like she was waiting for me to be disappointed.
"Austin, are you home yet?" My dad calling from downstairs.
"Yea, but I'm going to bed." I lied. "I'll tell you about the dance tomorrow."
"Ok, get some sleep the big game is this Friday." Reminding me once again.
"Night dad." I had to know who she was It was driving me insane, to get that close and not find out. I grabbed my yearbook from under my bed hoping that I'll be able to find that same smile I saw tonight."Lets see here, shes a blonde, so I can ignore any other hair color i guess." I doubt I'm going to find her in here, theres over 3500 kids that go to our school. Running my finger down the page my hand stopped on a blonde named...Sam Montgomery. I stopped and thought about where I've seen this girl before, she looked familar i just couldn't put my finger on it. Then it hit me, the girl from the diner. I don't think Its Cinderella or is it? Her eyes were a lot like the ones I saw tonight, she wasn't smiling though which made It hard to know If It was her. I started to remember all the times David and Shelby had been mean to her, It just wasn't right for them to treat the way they did. Looking closer at her picture I started to wonder why she wasn't smiling and what was going through head at that moment. I remember when she first came to North Valley High, she was very quiet, didn't talk to anyone or interact with anyone. She did smile at me in the of Art class once, she smiled like she was going to come over and talk to me], but when I made eye contact she turned away trying to hide it. I suppose that isn't Cinderella. This is pointless, I closed my yearbook and dropped It on the floor, pondering what to do next. "I got it!" I'll pass out flyers to everyone at school, maybe It's just the thing to get her to come to me. I just hope It would show her that I'm serious about knowing who she is. Just need to get up earlier to place a quick order. (BEEP) The blue cell phone ring, a new text message. Should I read it? Maybe It was her texting from another phone asking If I had her phone, I flipped It open the phone was locked, but I could still read what the text said.
Where r u? instantly another one came in.
u better be where ur suppose to be or else! I didn't know what that meant, but It didn't sound good. I closed her phone, turned off my light to go to sleep I had a long tomorrow. I just hope the flyers will be ready in turn for school, I'd have to pay extra I'm sure. Oh well thats fine by me, falling asleep wasn't easy that night It all I could think about was Cinderella.
