He Took His First Step

a short drabble about Bill taking his first step. This isn't the best drabble that i've written but it's been sitting in my document folder for a few months.

This is for the challenge '100 Word Prompts.'

"Toddle" && "Rewarding"

When Bill hit ten months old, it was obvious to both Molly and Arthur that he was on the verge of walking. It was only the previous week that he had managed to stand up by himself and three days later, he took his first step, unaided, but the rewarding part of the whole thing was when he had finally toddled across the living room. Seeing your child walk for the first time is something every new parent enjoys watching.
