People took off their seatbelts and stood up to get their luggage from the overhead lockers.
"Miss Barnes, is there something wrong?" the air hostess askes kindly.
The women looks up and quickly puts on her sunglasses and hat.
"No everything is fine thank you, it just strange to be back in Dallas again"
"You've been to Dallas before" the air hostess enquires
"Yes many years ago, it was my home, but I had to leave and I never thought I be coming back, but circumstances have changed"
"It's one of my favourite places, there just something about Dallas isn't there what keep you coming back"
"I guess there is" Miss Barnes replies.
She gets up from her seat and grabs her carry-on bag from her overhead locker, she waves goodbye to the air hostess and exits the plane. She walks down the tunnel what is leading from the plane to get to the airport. Love ones run to their family members who are waiting for them, but for her she had no one waiting for her. Many years ago she had a loving husband and son and even her brother was a big part of her life, but she lost all that when we left them all behind a decision she didn't take lightly she knew it was the right thing to do. She grabs her suitcase and heads towards the exit and steps outside the blazing sun hitting her she forgot how hot it could be in Dallas. Many taxis are waiting she slips inside one of them.
"Welcome to Dallas, where can I take you mam?" the over friendly taxi drives asks.
"Southfork Ranch please"
"Where the Ewing's live? Are you an old friend of theirs com to visit" The taxi driver questions
"You could say that, I knew them many years ago, and it time for us to meet again".
