Grey
You watch me from your elsewhere
With colors bright and true
You won't reach in to save me
You're afraid to fall in too.
I'm immersed in endless grey
I try to run, but it follows
I fight but I get no response,
Only future, ever hollow.
And I claw for solid ground
Sink into deep inky black
The color doesn't matter
As long as it fights me back..
And I'm caught but I don't care
I could get out but I'll stay
Because the road back to the light
Is paved in shades of grey.
