Chapter 1.
"Attention everyone," Yukio started "we have an important mission to comply to" he announced to the exwires.
"What is it about this time?" Izumo asked clearly bored.
"We have to guard a temple that has recently become a target for high level demons. We are to go there immediately and protect it until it can put up a protected barrier. I've assigned everyone partners." Yukio finished.
"Who's my partner?" Rin asked clearly excited.
Yukio sighed at his brother's impatiens "Nii-san I will read the list calm down.." Yukio stated. "Ok group one is Bon and Izumo." Bon and Izumo both glared at each other then at Yukio. Yukio ignored their death stares and continued to read the list. "Next group is Shiemi and Shura"
"Wimpy four-eyes why am I stuck with the runt I am a teacher!" Shura said while drinking a beer as usual.
Yukio ignored her but his eyebrow twitched in frustration to the snide comments "The third group is Takara and Konekomaru, and the last group is Shima and Rin." Rin glanced behind him at Shima and smiled and he smiled back.

They all arrived at the temple and the sun was setting, the groups all got settled in. Takara and Konekomaru had the first shift, from around 5:30 till 12. When their shift was over they got Rin and Shima. Sitting in front of the temple Rim and Shima started to talk.
Rin shivered, "wow it got really cold."
Shima sat up and handed Rin his jacket. Rin took the jacket and put it on blushing slightly, "thanks."
"Anytime"
They looked at each other and blushed then turned away quickly.
"So uh what's up." Rin said trying to break the awkward silence. Shima was about to say something when a bug landed next to him. Shima's face went pale, Rin noticed a silence on Shimas behalf so he turned but failed because of a certain pink haired exwire jumping into his arm with a loud scream causing them to fall back. Shima is now on top of Rin, holding onto him as if his life depended on it, when they realized how close they are to one another they both went completely red but yet they didn't move.
'H-He is so close…I want to…to touch him' Is the only thing that was going through Rin's mind at that moment.
'He looks so…so adorable…' Shima's thoughts were interrupted when he felt something wrap around his waist and pull him closer to Rin. He realized it was Rin's tail; Rin couldn't help it he leaned up and connected his lips to Shima's. Shima was shocked at first but then deepened the kiss. Rin Lapped his tongue on Shima's bottom lip Shima opened his mouth granting Rin's tongue entrance. Rin slid his hands up the back of Shima's shirt and Shima undid the buttons on Rin's shirt. They continued kissing only stopping for air when needed. As the kissing got deeper Shima slide his hand past the waistband of Rin's pants. They both stopped because they heard a snap of a twig they went pale and turned to face the noise only to see Bon staring wide eyed at them.
