Silently Katara entered the small room. Aang sat in the window looking down on the fire nation. She frowned looking at his sad large form. It had been several years since the fight with the fire nation had ended and they had gotten married. He was so happy, until the day they found out she couldn't have children. She felt it was her fault that he was no longer happy with life. She felt constintaly that she wasn't enouph for him anymore. That made her more sad then he could have even imagined. She softly padded across the wooden floor. Then stood just a few inches behind him. "Do you still love me Aang?" She whispered reluctantly. He spun around quickly.

"Why would you ask something like that!?" He snapped. She jumped back in surprise. He watched her for a few minutes then sighed. "I am sorry. I do love you." He lifted himself from the window seal and stood on the hard floor folding his arms around the now older Katara. Sometimes he forgot that she was a women who needed love just as much as he did. She began to weep softly. He had thought of everything. There was no way for them to have children. That's what he had thought would make his life complete. Raising children in the way of an air nomad, teaching them their ways. It wasn't fair, he had thought, But life hadn't been fair ever since he had become the avatar. He held her for a long time, in the darkening room. "Lets put on some tea and talk on the porch. Ok?" She nodded softly as she sniffled and wiped a tear from her now swollen eyes.

She leaned against him for a little while in the silence of the night. They had moved into the fire nation for no other reason but to be close to their family. Soka had built a family. They lived so happily not far from them just down in the valley beneath them. Suky had turned out to be a great mother to 3 children Kat he called his first after Katara. Ander was there second, and Tanse their theered they were all wonderful children she had come to find out. Thinking of them only made Katara even more depressed. She thought of Toph who hadn't settled anywhere, She roamed any where she wanted to, But came for a visit when ever she was free. Then there was Zuko, he had such a happy life, Well happy is a relative term with Mai. She hates the world which totally fits her, But they had 2 Children. Honora and Jin. They were so opposite. Honora was so beautiful and happy and Jin was usually a downer like his mother. This all leading back to Aang and Katara. They had no children and didn't know what to do. They had nothing. Just then Toph trotted up the hill happily. They both jumped at her sudden apearence. She smiled wildly.

"Toph!" Katara breathed happily as she went out to great her friend. Aang smiled happily.

"Hey Katara, hey twinkle toes!" He frowned again as he hated being called that. "Hey I think I know how to get you to have children!" They both looked at her in awe. She just smiled widly.
