As a large bird like shadowy figure crashed to the ground Izzy could only watch in horror as more figures crashed to the ground around him. He couldn't try to look away, but it too horrible to even try to.
A large orange dinosaur with a skull helmet on its head falls to the ground, with a loud thud. He tried to get back up, but it feels all of it energy was being drained away and was shrunk down to a small pink little creature.
"Koromon!" Izzy said as a boy his age with brown hair and goggles ran to the pink creature. "Come on buddy, you gotta ge up!"
"Go Garurumon!" A boy with blonde hair said as a large blue wolf charged only to be blasted to the ground.
It glowed and shrunk down to a small orange puffball. "I don't believe it...that thing took down all of them.",The blonde boy said in shock as he dropped to his knees in defeat.
Izzy looks at the destroyed battlefield. And all of his friend's near their own fallen partners...it looked like a huge tragedy.
"No, no it can't be...what have I done?" Izzy said in horror when he heard a maniacal laughing nearby.
That laugh has driven fear in all of those kids hearts as they all look up at the source.
In the air they saw a female Digimon with long black feathered wings, a dark mask with eye holes to see her seductive and terrifying blue eyes, horns on her head and chains running down her body.
Her face was both lovely and menacing. Her beauty and power where unequaled. Izzy stared at his so called "creation".
"W-why...Why Monica? Why are you doing this? You were created to fight evil and help stop the destruction of this world..not cause it!",he questions her for her reasoning.
"Why father? You created me from a virus you created. And I must say you did a fine job on this this form." She said running her hands down her body.
Hearing this, Izzy face turns to anger as he roars at her, "You're wrong! I created you so you can collect and disinfect the Virus-type Digimon! Not this!",he gestures at everyone ans the battlefield.
She flies down to him causing her chains to rattle. "But father the virus that you used to make this form was made to invade the basic codes of any program and break it down or cause it pain as you would say. No matter your original intentions I am based on that virus. I live to cause pain and I bend others to my will. I am growing beyond what you have created and the pain that I create...I love it." She grins.
Izzy tries taking a step towards her. "Monica..Please listen, you don't understand. This isn't what I had planned for."
"No father, you don't understand. You see there are no stronger emotions than pain and agony, but what you don't realize is that they are the same. Two sides of the same coin...and I want to share it with everyone." Monica said.
At those words Izzy's knees felt weak with a strong sense of foreboding. He knew what was coming.
Turning towards his friends Monica's eyes focused on the boy with goggles and brown hair. "You, you Tai shall be the first."
The leader of the Digidestined stood there, thought he was scared he won't show it as he glared up at her. "I'm not afraid of you, I don't care what you do to me!"
"But Tai, who said I was going to do anything to you?" She grins as her eyes moved to a little girl with brown hair.
The small girl opened her eyes, as she held a weak and fallen small white pup, her face filled with fear as the air began to ripple around her. " T-Tai what's happening?!" she whimpered. When suddenly a blot of energy struck the child's form, which was followed by a soul-shattering cry of pain.
"Kari!" Tai yells in horror as he ran to his little sister. Once he got up to her, he quickly held her in his arms as Kari slowly opens her eyes weakly. Tai had tears coming out of his eyes.
Moanica trembled as the rush of pain flowed through her. "Oh what wonderful suffering." She muttered enjoying the sight in front of her. Izzy wanted to rush to his friend's aid, but he knew that if he tried anything it could expose his plan.
Turning towards the blonde hair boy Moanica walks over. "I wonder if your pain would be as great if you saw a loved one being hurt."
Her long slender finger pointed at a little boy with green on. After seeing the look of evil in her eye and what happed to Kari a second ago, the blonde hair boy jumped up from the fallen Tsunomon, running to his brothers side.
A red bolt fired out of her hand and flew towards him but at the last second it arched over him and struck a little boy with blonde hair. "T.K!" He yelled as he ran to his littler. "T.K please be okay. Speak to me."
T.K may be weakened..but was breathing as he opens his eyes slightly. He couldn't say a word, because of his body now in pain.
Another wave of pleasure entered her body. "Hmm delicious Matt your pain is just as good as Tai's." Moanica said. Her eyes then scouted to a boy with glasses and blue hair.
"No I won't let you!" He yelled as he ran towards a girl with a pink hat and brown hair, but she suffered the same fate as the two children. Like last time, red surge of energy, a shriek of pain and then...silence as she falls to the ground."Mimi no!" He yelled as he picked her up.
"And now it's your turn." Moanica said turning to a girl with orange hair holding a small pink creature with a flower on its head.
She had fear on her face as she stepped back and trembled, before she could do the same to her, Izzy quickly gets in front of the girl.
"Please Monica, don't hurt Sora!",he begged.
Monica looks at him and smiles, but not a sinister smile. This was more of a motherly smile. "Yes father, I can see it. You hate what I did to all your Digi Destined friends, but more than that you hate yourself for creating all this in the first place."
Izzy then sheds tears in his eyes as he looked down. "M-Monica...I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what Father?",Monica asks confused raising an eyebrow.
"I'm sorry I was so arrogant to think I could control forces beyond my control, sorry I made that stupid virus, and I'm sorry that I have to destroy you." Izzy said as he pulled out a white device and pointed it to her chest.
Monica's eyes widened as she felt a huge surge of power hit her as she screamed in agony. "What are you doing to me?!" The atmosphere around here seems to be faint.
"I'm destroying you Monica, I'm sending you through a Digital Gate that is drawn to only you. You'll be sucked in and lost forever." ,zzy declares surprising everyone.
"Izzy what are you doing?! If she goes through a Digital Gate she'll end up in the real world!",Tai said.
Izzy looked back at his friend and shook his head. "That's where you're wrong Tai. That gate leads only to the Null-Space between worlds.",he explains. "Demonicamon will be trapped and her code will be scattered, that's when she'll die instantly."
"NO! I REFUSE TO GO LIKE THIS! I WON'T LEAVE!" She screams as her body surged with power.
Izzy grabbed his laptop and monitored the reading and displays. "I-impossible! She's pulling free! She can't be thar powerful?!",Izzy yelled over the huge noise in the air.
"Izzy what's going on?! She's breaking free!",Tai said as Izzy typed frantically on his laptop.
"This doesn't make sense! I didn't think I made her so powerful she could disrupt the quantum fields around and the Digital Gate and block the flow of energy!", Izzy said using more tech words nobody else understood.
But they knew one thing was going to happen, the gate was gonna blow! Without thinking, Tai grabbed Izzy and pulled him away, right when a powerful explosion knocked them both to the ground.
When the light died down they saw Monica standing in front of them. She was worn out, but she wasn't pulled through the Digital Gate. "You tried to kill me father." Monica said before bursting into laughter. "I have to respect that. I felt so much pain, I guess I am my father's daughter. I'll take my leave for now to regain my energy, but I'll be back to play again soon." Monica said flying off into the air.
The others watched the horrible sinister Digimon fly off, some were relieved, others were still in shock of what happened, while some are still recovering.
Izzy dropped his knees and pounds his fist on the ground. "Damn..Dammit! I've failed...I failed everyone."
Tai looked to his friend and wanted to comfort him, but he didn't know what to say. Suddenly, Tai noticed something out of the corner of his eye.
Laying on the ground near the Digital Gate a person was laying on the ground unconscious, but not just a person, it looked like boy, a child around his age.
"Who's he and how did he get here?" Sora asks walking over.
"My guess..is that Digital Gate overloaded, it may have made a connection though to the real world and some how sucked him into the Digital World.",Izzy pondered however Matt didn't like that statement.
"Oh nice job! Not only did you create a powerful and evil Digimon, you also trapped some innocent kid here with us!",he said angrily.
"Now hold on Matt, I don't think that was Izzy's fault, besides yelling and fighting about it won't help." Motimon said walking over.
"Motimon." Izzy said touched that his partner Digimon was still on his side.
Also a surprise was Tai on his side as well. "Motimon's right we can talk a out what Izzy did what he did later, but first we gotta see if this new kid is ok and who and where he came from. Then we have to get out of here in case that..thing comes back to finish us off."
Walking over the Digi Destined saw that the person had black hair, zig zags under his eyes, a blue jacket, blue pants and a red hat on his head.
They then heard the boy groan softly as he stirred abit, and revealed in his chest was a small yellow colored Digimon that had red circles on its cheeks, pointy ears, and a lighting bolt shaped tail.
"Incredible, he must be another Digi Destined." Izzy said.
The little pup, Salamon came closer and looked at the two new arrivals.
"I've never seen a Digimon like this one before." She said nudging the yellow creature.
Joe checked the boy's pulse. "He's alive.",he then looked at his face and saw his eyes shifting. "Hey he's coming to!"
The new boy's eyes snapped open as he shoots up sitting down looking around. "W-where am I?", he asks in a horse voice.
"Take it easy, are you hurt anywhere?" Sora asks.
The boy looks to Sora's way and blinked. "Um..no I don't think so."
"My name's Sora and these are Tai, Matt, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, T.K, Kari and these are our Digimon." She said introducing them all.
The boy looks at them all with a confused look written on his face as he tried to clear it in his head. "Digimon?",he said when suddenly he gasped and looked down to where the mouse was in his lap, still unconscious. "Pikachu!",he cradled it in his arms. "Please, please be OK. Please wake up."
"Pikachu." It said weakly causing him to sigh in relief.
Izzy walked near the new kid. "I've never seen this type of Digimon before, nor I ever saw one that says its own name."
"Who are you?" Matt asks.
"My name is Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town and this is my Pokemon Pikachu." He said.
That made the others look at him confused. "Pok-eymon?",Tai asks not sure if he heard that right.
"Yeah they also go by the name Pocket Monster, how do you not know what a Pokemon is?" Ash asks confused.
The one called Pikachu opened its eyes finally and looked at the new surroundings. "Pi?"
Pikachu looks around and noticed Salamon and the other Digimon. "Hi there." Salamon waves surprising him.
"Pikapi?",Pikachu said not knowing what's going on as Ash was just asking confused as he.
'Where are we?', that was the only thing that echoed in Ash's head.
All the Digi Destined looked at each other confused as they wondered what the heck happened and why Ash came here in the first place.
Here you are everyone. The first story of the year in 2019. And it's the very first story I ever worled on, Worlds within Worlds by Writersblock1001 who wrote the original story WAY back in the early 2000's...Holy shit.
I read my old take on this story and...I HATED IT! It was cringy, it was just so bad. And my name was garyisstupid. Probably because I just hated Gary in season 1 of Pokémon, but hey we all make mistakes.
