The Poltergeist
Chapter 1: Here I come
On top of a hill right outside Hogsmead a shelter for Homeless poltergeists lies.
Originally it was built to house a lonely werewolf (a student from Hogwarts) and known as the Shrieking Shack but since Dumbledore could see no use for it anymore he got it rebuilt to a Shelter for Poltergeists, (He's always full of ideas isn't he?).
Well inside this Shelter in the common room Mr. McCreepy was reading the Muggle newspaper looking for a home to haunt.
"Will you keep it down?" He yelled to the two poltergeists that were playing tennis with poor Dennis' head,
"Cool down dude!" One of them said, with big Afro hair,
"Read somewhere else," The other one said with the biggest pair of sunglasses that Mr. McCreepy ever had seen.
"Okay I'm cooling down" Mr. McCreepy said and held his breath, his face turned blue and small ice taps formed on his big nose finally he let out his breath and turned back to the tennis playing poltergeists and his face started to turn red, "I cooled down but it didn't help so KEEP IT DOWN!" the power of the last words blew the two poltergeists through the wall and into the toilet (Nobody really knew what it was for since the ghosts didn't need bathrooms for obvious reasons).
McCreepy chuckled for him self, some poltergeists were just way to easy to scare.
"This looks good," He said to himself reading the paper, "flower ally no. 54 her I come."
He threw the paper aside and flew out of the shelter towards what he thought was Flower Ally.
"Where is it? It can't be that darn hard finding one street!" He mumbled angrily to himself and flew through a sign, "Wait a minute" he flew back and looked at the sign and right he was with big letters there stood 'Flower ally'
"Finally" He sighed and quickly found no. 56.
He flew inside and found a book he got for his four hundred birthday 'How to Haunt the living'.
"Rule no. 1" He read out loud, "Wait until it gets dark, the livings are always easier to scare in the dark."
"Alright" He said and closed the book, "Just have to wait until it gets dark then"
He placed the book back in his pocket in the big once brown coat he was wearing (it was naturally gray now) and found a place to sit and to wait for the dark.
After a while of hearing footsteps and voices (that was making Mr. McCreepy almost loose his mind) the dark finally came and everything became silent.
Mr. McCreepy read rule no. 1 once again, to make sure to do it right, this was after all his first time (if you didn't include aunt Fiffy who died right before he even got the chance to scare her). He crept up to the bedroom and saw an older woman reading a magazine.
He quickly found the book again and read rule no. 2 'Scare the living with the horror sounds you can make'
"That shouldn't be that hard" He whispered and started saying "Whooo, whoooo" or something like that. The older lady didn't even look up. "Okay you're a tough one," He said to himself. He somehow got a chain around his foot and walked slowly around the room. Still the old woman didn't look up.
"Hm" he said thoughtful and found a drum and started playing as loud as he could,
"Okay missy! What are you reading?" He finally exploded and went to read what the magazine was called.
"Look and hear, Stories you just can't stop reading." He said out loud, "Darn! I can't compete with that!"
He flew angrily out of the house and threw the book into the trashcan.
The next day he was back at the Shelter reading yet another paper, but this time it was Daily Profet, from the wizard world.
"Hogwarts needs another ghost," Mr. McCreepy read, "I'm on it!"
A/N: This was originally a chap in another story but it just didn't fit in the story so I decided on making a story based on this chapter. What do you think? Review please ;)
