When she hums, he can't stand it. Can't stand to think that she's met someone else and that she's happy. It should be him and yet it isn't. Air Force regs take care of that. But it just isn't fair. She shouldn't be allowed to love anyone else. But she's happy and he likes it when she's happy. But if she hums one more time...
"Sir" She gasps as he slams her against the cold steal of the elevator wall, crashing his lips against hers.
He wants to shut her up. Stop that incessant humming of hers that's driving him to a suicidal death. But an afterlife without Carter won't be fun. Not nearly as fun as what he's doing now. His tongue slipping into her mouth. His body pinning her to the wall. Trapping her without much chance of escape.
Though he doubts she cares much, not by the way she moans into his mouth or the way she runs her nails down his back. Urging him on before they've even begun.
The rational part of him knows that this is wrong. That it's dangerous. That the doors could spring open at any moment. But damn does this feel good...
Better than anything else he's felt before. But as much as he likes this, he isn't about to do it with her against an elevator wall. He doesn't want to get caught, no matter how great the thrill. He's pretty sure she'll kill him if they're caught, but that doesn't worry him.
Jack pulled back when they needed air, going back to where he was standing originally. Carter, though still in shock, copied him and straightened up her clothes, before turning to look at him and ask,
"Sir…. What the hell was that?"
Jack turned to her with a smug look on his face.
"You wouldn't stop humming"
"Well sir, I'm happy."
Jack sighed and looked back at the elevator buttons. "Yes Carter, I know." The elevator doors opened and Daniel walked in. "Hey guys." He said while his nose was stuck in a book.
Daniel closed his book to look at them. He realised that the two were blushing furiously and were trying very hard not to glance at each other. "Well this is awkward," He thought," I wonder why… I probably don't want to know."
Sam gave in and looked at her CO. He looked back. Then they knew.
Daniel left the elevator, free of the tension, and went to find Janet. Today was interesting and he wanted to discuss the look.
When the elevator doors closed, Sam threw her arms around Colonel O'Neill and kissed him passionately. He groaned as their tongues battled for dominance.
For the next few levels this continued, until the doors opened. By then they had calmed down, fixed their clothes and hair and were standing a good distance from each other. No one had to know.
6 weeks later
Security called General Hammond in to the surveillance room. They were going over the tapes for the past 2 months, to look for anything unusual.
"What is it, Corporal?" He asked.
The corporal looked at him without revealing emotion, while his colleagues looked very happy.
"Well Sir, we were going over the elevator tapes and we found something that maybe of interest to you."
He turned and instructed the corporal next to him to play it.
For 15 minutes General Hammond stared at the screen, watching the events unfold.
When it finished, everyone in the room looked at him to see his reaction.
"Well I better go tell Daniel he called it."
