"James Potter!" Lily screeched. James came pounding down the stairs and came to stand before his wife quickly.
"Yes Lily, dear?" Lily smirked and crossed her arms over her chest.
"I've been calling you for five minutes!" James gave her a sheepish grin.
"Sorry Lily, I was working." She nodded solemnly.
"Well, first of all, I needed you, so please start coming down when I call you?" James nodded and sighed.
"Two, I have very important news, would you wish to hear it?" Her expression was softening some and James nodded his head to show he was, actually, very eager to hear this new news.
"The healer today, told me I don't have the flu." James furrowed his eyebrows, now a little scared.
"Lill, what's wrong?" Lily smiled, obviously amused by her husbands sudden concern.
"Nothing's wrong, well, if you take this okay, that is." James thought for a moment then looked at his wife wondrously.
"Well, what is it Lily? Don't keep me waiting I have work to do, I have to go somewhere tonight too, and Sirius is coming over in an hour."
"I DON'T BLOODY CARE THAT SIRIUS IS COMING OVER! I'M PREGNANT FOR MERLIN'S SAKE AND I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TELL YOU THAT ALL DAY YOU PRAT JAMES POTTER!" He immediately fell silent and stared at her in disbelief.
"Really?" Lily nodded, tears streaming down her face now. James embraced her quickly and smiled.
"This is brilliant news Lily, really it is."
"So your not mad?" She asked, sobbing.
"Of course not Lily, we're going to have a baby!" they kissed quickly and Lily smiled.
"I'm glad your happy James." He nodded.
Little did they know what exactly this baby would do, what he would be. Little did Lily Potter know she'd be killed in a little over a year with her husband. Little did she know, her son would survive. Little did she know that she would have a son. She didn't know most of this, but along with it all she didn't know, that from here, until nine months, she'd be carrying 'The Boy Who Lived', and for eternity, she'd be his mother.
