Nico's POV

I was so happy Percy was back from Tarturas. I may not be the best at showing my emotions but my heart flutters. He is my true love. So perfect.

But he is with Annabeth.

Later that night when I was tying ropes around the pedestal of the Athena Parthenos Percy came up to me.

"Thank you," Percy said.

Why was he thanking me? "What for?" I asked.

"You promised to lead the others to the House of Hades.," Percy said. "You did it."

I finished tying the rope. "You got me out of that bronze jar in Rome. Saved my life yet again. It was the least I could do."

"Also," Percy said, "you visited Bob..."

Percy then talked about his trip in Tarturas. I understood how he felt.

"You convinced Bob that I could ne trusted, even thought I never visited him. I never gave him a second thought. You probably saved our lives by being nice to him." Percy said

"Yeah, well," Nico said, "not giving people a second thought... that can be dangerous." I replied.

"Dude, I'm trying to say thank you." He said.

Gods he was amazing, and perfect in every way..

I laughed, "I'm trying to say you don't need to. Now I need to finish this, if you could give me some space?"

He took a step toward me.

I felt my face get slightly red.

"I now you hate me. But you don't have to separate yourself from everyone!" Percy said, he put a hand on ym shoulder.

I was really getting red now.

"I never hated you, yeah I was upset about Bianca, but I never blamed you. Why can't you see that I..." I trailed off.

"You what?" Percy asked.

"N-nevermind." I said. So embarrassing.

"You can tell me." Percy said.

"I uh..." I was almost there but then SHE came up.

"What's up?" She says.

Before I could say anything Percy spoke up, "Annabeth, Nico and I need to talk in private about things."

"Ok." She replied.

Then, Percy grabbed my wrist and took me too a lower deck. We were alone.

"So, what were you saying?" Percy asked.

How can I tell him. What about Annabeth!

He looked at me, I decided there was one way to show him how I feel.

I closed my eyes, and pressed my lips against his. It was amazing.

Percy gently pushed me off. "Nico?"

I was blushing so hard.

"You like me?" Percy asked.

"Y-yes." I said.

I thought it was over, and Percy hated me but, then he kissed me.

I was the one shocked this time, but then I calmed down, and kissed back.

It was the best moment of my life. Kissing the man I have loved for years.

We finally stopped kissing to breath.

"I love you Percy." I said.

"I love you too." He replied.
