Shadow
The Shadows are alive,
can't you see?
They are grinning and laughing.
The owners of the Shadows have no idea
what kind of demon they are harboring.
At night They strike.
They lash out and kill whatever they can reach.
They are invisible to the naked eye.
Only those who have no Shadows can see them.
The only way to rid yourself of those parasites,
is to be killed by your Shadow.
Then your Shadow is gone.
But, you are dead.
So is it worth the price?
To destroy the demons, you must die.
But if you let Them live on,
They will rip the world to pieces.
They will kill,
and kill,
and kill.
You may ask,
"How did you survive then?"
Who says I'm alive?
No one said that.
For those who are killed by the Shadows, turn into one.
So the question now is,
Where am I?
Am I your Shadow,
or theirs.
You won't know until you die.
