Hey people! Now this will piss you off if you read my other stories but, I just want to post this for other people to do, since it seems like a cool idea, but I don't need the extra story to work on. So here is my idea.
Naruto wields Sounga from the 3rd Inuyasha movie.
Now due to Naruto's immense will power, the blade is unable to possess him. looking into the boys past, which must be the standard Naruto is tortured, beaten and abused path. Now Sounga doesn't get sentimental as that isn't his character, he merely respects the boy for not caving into insanity.
Now the idea I have for this is that Naruto finds Sounga after being run out of the village by a mob. A few miles out side the village is were he is chased to a ravine, now you can choose if he is pushed of the edge or if he decides to end it himself. Now when Naruto found Sounga, Kami, who needs to be female and kind of caring to Naruto, decides to give him a family. She revives Inuyasha, Kagome, Sesshomaru, Rin(not the one from Naruto series), Sango, Miroku, Shippo, Sesshomaru's mother, Inutaisho, and Inuyasha's Mother(can't remember her name). Now this seems like it is a massive family, and well... it is, but I am confident that someone will be able to make it work.
Now the other thing is that Naruto's biological family is still alive, with two daughters that are the same age as Naruto. Yes Naruto is a child in a set of triplets. They leave him in Konoha getting it in their heads that jinchuriki need to stay in the village. Jiriya and Tsunade Must be with them as well. If you have them come back, please just have Naruto beat them within an inch of their lives. If you kill them use the Dragon Twister.
Now I am all for multiple people doing this story, just give me credit for the challenge, and idea.
