A/N: Hey guys. This is Subspace Chronic XXV here with my first fanfiction. I've had this idea for about 2 months. Since this is my first fanfiction, I may be very bad at first, so bear with me. This story contains rage (obviously from the title), but, for now of course, we shall start off slowly. It's the intro after all. It all starts when Davis sees a boy running back inside the school. Davis and his Digimon partner, Veemon, follow him but lost him in the hallway. Luckily, his search ended when he saw a light coming from the computer lab with a voice sounding like he's playing a game. Both of them look inside to see what he's doing until...

As for disclaimers: I do not own Digimon nor the game.(If you played the game and raged SO much, you might know which one I'm talking about.) I'll only give you one hint. Quiz

Quizzical Frustration

"ALRIGHT THAT'S IT! I'VE HAD IT WITH THIS FUCKING GAME!"

The sound of an enraged student reaches the entrance of the computer lab, the door ajar, causing the two eavesdroppers to fall into the room. At the same time, another pair of students, and a pair of their friends, entered the computer lab.

"Davis, what are you trying to do here after school?" A girl voice asked.

"Aw, it's nothing bad. I was just following this guy who was sneaking into the school and found him in here."Davis explained, wincing in pain, "And then the guy decidec to ear rape both of us with his screams!"

Meanwhile, Veemon was crying tears of pain and spazzing on the floor.

"MY EARS! It stinking hoits!"

The cat digimon next to Kari looked to see the boy shutting the computer down with her ears covered due to the unknown boy's constant screaming.

"ALRIGHT I'M SHUTTING THIS DOWN. I'm out of he-" he pauses as he turned around to exit the computer lab, looking at company. He looked at them weirdly with a tad bit of embarrassment as he awkwardly said, "what are you guys doing here?"

The boy with the hat on replied, "Oh we were just wondering what Davis was doing sneaking inside school and found you. What were you doing here anyway, it's past school hours?"

"Ahh. It's just nothing. All I did was play a game that ALMOST MADE ME VANDALIZE A SCHOOL PC!"

Davis chuckled a little from this kid's sudden outburst of wrath at a school computer. "Aw come on. How difficult can a game be? What's the game title?"

The boy snickered a bit, then hardened his expression, "And why should I tell you?"

Davis frowned, "I was just wondering, okay? Come on. Don't be so annoyed about it. "

The mystery boy paid no attention to Davis and began listlessly walking to the exit.

"...unless you're afraid I would cheat you out of your victory. "Davis taunted after a long pause.

As he said this, the mystery boy stopped in front of the digidestined. He had put an unamused expression in his face, if not ticked, as if that game wasn't irritating enough. The sound of silence filled the room, the digidestined expecting the boy's response. Nothing-not even birds chirping or winds blowing that could break this quiet tension. Finally, he turned his face to Davis.

"OK then, "he said, "If you think this is just child's play, then how about this.

Everyone leaned a little forward, waiting on what he is going to say next. "I have tried to beat this game at least 80 times now and I have only gotten as far as question 78. I dare you, Davis Motomiya, to try and beat this game in less than that - 80 tries! "

Smirking, Davis accepted. When it comes to competition, he's always in the game.

"Alright then. It's a deal. "

The unknown boy takes another step and stood beside Davis, shoulders in alignment.

"Here, "He says, opening his hand, arm to his side, revealing a card.

Davis takes the card. "What is this? "

"It's the title of the game and its URL-except it may have been published on many sites by now. Regardless, I'm out. "

He walks to through the last row of computers before the door.

"W-wait. I haven't even gotten to know your name. "

"Tony, "answered Tony, turning to face him, " It's Tony."

Tony, without any further interruptions, walks left toward the door, only to have his eyes struck by Kari as he starts blushing.

Davis sees his face and begins forming a fist.

"See ya. And hellooooo hottie."

Going goo-goo eyes over Kari? Calling her a hottie?! Davis, jealous as he starts to become, clenches his fists and mumbled, "Oh I'll show you hottie."

Veemon takes the card from his hand and reads. He fumbled, "AWWWW Great! This game is nothing but a quiz. "

If there is one thing Davis cannot cope with, it's long, hard, and boring quizzes. Oh this is gonna be good.

T.K laughs, "Looks like you're in for a treat, Davis. "

"Oh come on. This quiz couldn't be THAT difficult compared to that of here, "Davis said.

"Says the guy who failed today's pre-quiz, "said Patamon.

"Hey, that was math! "replied Davis. Though it was on Algebra-specifically quadratic equations and whatnot.

Everyone, except Davis, laughed with each other, including Davis, and quickly faded as they all leave the school, split up midway, and walked toward their individual homes.

The sun descended into the horizon; Davis walks toward his apartment not far from where he is and looks up to the night sky with determination.

This will be a piece of cake. Davis thought. Eat your heart out Tony. I'll dust your challenge aside like nothing.

Not able to resist the urge to play, he and Veemon ran toward their apartment building front door and headed toward their door. How bad could just one quiz be? He will never know.

And that's the start of hell's logic.

Mysterious person: This chapter sucks.

Me: I know that. However, I made a little tweaks to the ending.

Sorry. This chapter was really rushed.

I didn't exactly planned this perfectly, but that's the prologue. Many people can do it better than I can. Oh well. Next chapter, we have Davis playing the Impossible Quiz. That's right, the Impossible Quiz. I know you guys are going to wonder or expect what his reaction is. However, many of you know how to fit his personality perfectly, but I didn't, so it won't be accurate.

Farewell.
