Will watched Merlin, his Merlin, laugh at something Prince Arthur said as they walked their hands occasionally brushing as they laughed together. He had to admit he had not seen Merlin this happy in a while but it did not stop his heart from hurting. Then again, it was his fault that the young warlock had left, leaving him in tears. They had both gotten hurt, with fault from both sides. Nevertheless, he still cared for his Merlin.

Merlin held his heart and had done for many years but his pain was starting to lessen, even seeing Arthur with Merlin did not heart as much and Will could feel his heart pounding whenever he was smiled at, by them.

All of these tears time will dry them I will survive them
And make it through into another day all of this pain
Time will heal it there'll be a time sometime I know
I won't feel it
I will live through life without you after the hurting is done

Slowly, ever so slowly, the pain disappeared and he started to learn what love was, he studied Merlin and Arthur, even though they denied any hint Will had given.

"I wish love was as easy for me as it is for them" Will looked at the woman who sat next to him and smiled

"Love is learnt my lady. And I will learn to love, again" Morgana smiled and lent against him watching the figures curled up under the tree gently touching each other as they spoke.
