Prompt: I Said I Love You (Babyface)
Emily was at the airport getting ready to leave. She had resigned from the BAU because she couldn't take seeing Aaron every day when she loved him as much as she did. She still remembered the flare of surprise in his eyes when she handed him her resignation. She felt her heart breaking as she thought about how much she was going to hate not seeing him.
She hated that she had to do it this way but she didn't know any other way to do it. She loved him so much that it hurt her physically to see him every day. She finally had told him how she felt just as she was leaving his office. She hadn't even stayed to hear his response.
She was just getting ready to pass through Security when she heard Aaron's voice yelling "Emily! Damn it Emily you can't leave."
Emily got out of line and walked over to where Aaron was standing yelling at her and she looked at him and hissed "Why can't I leave Aaron? There is nothing here for me anymore. Every time I see you my heart breaks a little bit more. Why can't you just let me go?"
Aaron shook his head. "I'm never letting you go Emily. I love you."
Emily's mouth dropped slightly open and she said "What did you just say Aaron?"
Aaron laughed and said "I said I love you. If you would have waited around in my office instead of running out like you did I could have settled this in my office. Instead I had to race after you and follow you here. Damn it woman you call yourself a profile how in the world could you not tell that I was in love with you?"
Emily blushed and giggled like a school girl. "I couldn't tell because I was blinded for my own feelings for you. I love you Aaron and I never want to stop loving you."
Aaron smiled and pulled Emily to him and gave her a kiss that blew her mind. "I love you too Emily. I never want you to stop loving me just like I never want to stop loving you. What do you say we go back to my place and start loving one another?"
Emily nodded. "I would say Agent Aaron Hotchner I have never heard an idea as good as that one before. What are we waiting around here for?"
Aaron laughed and wrapped his arm around Emily and guided her out of the airport. He was happy that he had gotten there in time to stop her from leaving. He had thought for sure that he would miss her because it took him a while to find a parking space. Now that he had her in his arms he was never letting her go.
